I will break this up into sections so it would be easier to understand.

Keep in mind that this is a Japan Cruise. 70% of passengers are Japanese.

I have been cruising with Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, and Carnival, but by far, this is the worse cruise. Here is why.

Ship:

Even though it was refurbished, this ship is still look old. We didn’t like the layout of this ship and find it to be a bit confusing.

Stateroom:

We have an accessible stateroom so the room is bigger which is nice. Our room attendant does a good job of keeping it clean everyday.

Food:

Lack of varieties. We seem to have the same food for breakfast and lunch for 10 days. After we get home, we don’t want to see another bowl of Miso soup. The food at the dining room is mediocre so that would give you an idea how it would be in the buffet area. Compare to other cruise lines that we have sail on, this is by far the worse food we have had on a cruise. It’s not as tasty. It doesn't give you that feeling of wanting more.

Daily Activities:

Lack of. Maybe because this ship is gear toward an older crowd (75+ most passengers), there weren’t much day or night activities. There’s nothing going on after the show. Don’t expect game shows or anything like that.

Entertainment:

After seeing 2 days of their singers and dancers (their production shows), we stop going because they weren’t even good. They would quickly put us to sleep right after dinner.

Service:

Service was great from the front desk and some of the waiters in the main dining rooms.

Conclusion:

I wouldn’t go again even if this is given to me for free. It’s a waste of my time.
