The time and was the main reason. the cost was low, but i was under the impression it was , reduced due to low booking rate. well, the basic eating area was like a food court, pigs to a trough. the supposed up market dining room looked elegant and appealing. Food was not much better and took forever to arrive..people dressed up and but honestly it was like fake and more like fancy dress. for extra cost you could eat in the restaurant, food was actually very good .for a south pacific cruise there was NO FRESH SEAFOOD, dont expect even a prawn.

ok the sea was not rough BUT the water in the pool sloshed everywhere so it was drained and NO POOL. pool deck was where smokers congregated en masse and was totally unbearable.we were near the stern and often went there but not enough deck chairs and often too hot. tender process for shore tours was ridiculous.

cabin was actually better than i expected and staff magicially cleaned and tidied up without any fuss. the activities were for pensioners, bingo, name that tune honestly. shows were reasonable but few and far between. best thing were the jazz band. we went every night, even though we hate jazz. they were the only professionals on the entire boat. Ah drinks, watered down cheap spirits. we mainly stayed in the cabin or at the bar/reading area at front ship.
