First I would like to introduce myself, I am 41, Married and in general a happy person every day. I always try to make the best of every situation as life is to short to be grumpy. I come from a Cuban background but I was born in Speedway,Indiana. Never the less I still have strong Latin roots. My wife is from Medellin,Colombia and we love to cruise!

I will try to keep it short, Embarkation was 35 minutes, I thought that was pretty good considering I have waited in line for 2 hours in Ft.Lauderdale for a cruise on the Carnival Freedom. We were on the ship by 12:30 and eating lunch by 1PM. After lunch we went to our cabin to see if it was ready, And it was. No bags yet but we always carry a backpack with some extra clothes as we know that it takes time for your bags to arrive. Our bags came at 4:30PM. We then got off the ship to walk in Old San Juan until it was time to depart.

OK, Now it's time to have some fun on the ship! Right,(WRONG!) From the very first night we could already see that we were in for a true test of our patience, Our lovely Puerto Rican guest acted like they owned the ship! Further more Carnival acted like they owned the ship! We did not let this bother us as this was the first night. It only got worse as the cruise went along, People not even letting you get out of the elevators or jumping in front of you to get on them. People cutting the line at the buffet and the deli as well. Forget the mid section pool as this was also a joke. Kids everywhere running wild and making noise outside our cabin every night, I even wondered at one point,(Do these kids even go to school!) Don't get me wrong, We love kids but not this kind. We could not wait to get off the ship every morning and get away from this crowd. Like I said before we are Latin, But we were not raised like this. We will never sail out of San Juan Again!

Cabin Review

Cabin BAL

Cabin 1067 on the Panorama deck, There is a huge air intake on the right side of the balcony. It sounds like a street sweeper sucking air in 24/7. You could not hear the ocean or the waves from your balcony like other balcony cabins we have had before. Cabin 1066 has the same problem.
