For our first ever cruise my daughter and I chose Venetian Vistas on Thomson Spirit because we wanted to see Dubrovnik as we are GOT fans and also wanted to visit Venice.

Our airport experience was very smooth as was embarkation at Dubrovnik Thomson is a well oiled machine. Quickly we where ushered to our inside cabin midship on deck 3, spacious and very clean, comfortable beds and a good sized bathroom which had lots of hot water at shower time. Alana looked after our cabin and we can back to some amazing towel animals in the evening.

We took a taxi to Pilar Gate and enjoyed the Old City before returning to the ship. Muster was at 18.30 that evening very important and a good way to meet people we all laughed at how funny we all looked in our life jackets. Read more
