Friend recommended MSC. Did not live up to our expectations. Service was lacking, bathroom toiletries were not supplied. One wash cloth was supplied. Phones did not receive calls.Totally overloaded with passengers. Rude employees, not knowledgeable, language problems, No frills environment. Packed elevators all hours of night and day.Food portions at dinner were minimal and not really quality Italian cuisine. Pizza at buffet was EXCELLENT. Needed extension cord, only one outlet in cabin. Had to leave $30 deposit. Ordered ice from reception desk, it never came. Undisciplined children ran all over boad. Sun bathers at pool area move chairs all over deck obstructing pedestrian traffic. Several tripped and stumbled. Purchased liquor from on board shops, not wrapped for travel and didn't realize that the wrong liquor was given until we arrive at home. No pens and writing paper were supplied in cabin.Overall experience was horrible at times Crowds, crowds, crowds. .Will not refer nor ever cruise on MSC again. Celebrity, Princess etc make MSC look like a low budget, public assistance ship.......Overly populated, long lines, very frustrating, felt like a no frills, low economy cruise. Poor crew knowledge, language problems, unattended children, no pool chairs available, very frugal portions of food at dinner, phone in cabin not working, disorganized embarkation, buffet impossible to get at food due to overloading of people. Had to eat standing up, shortage of tables. Ice cream dispenser gave liquid vanilla ice cream. Elevators constantly packed, had to wait several trips to get one that we could have room to stand in. Wrong directions on daily newsletter for excursion meeting points on ship. Excursion bus's A/C broke down in 99 + degrees temp.

No flat sheets on beds. Boat tender crashed into dock at Cayman Islands causing minor injury to an elderly woman. Standing room only in oppressive heat on 35 min. ferry ride to Bahamas, overloaded boat. Many other disappointments too numerous to mention at this time. Please note: We are NOT chronic complainers. Will never use MSC again. Will stay with Celebrity, Princess et al.
