Great cruise but a little disappointed with the staff and the boutiques.

We found the staff very hard working and dedicated but where are they?? We think Riviera has cut staff and we have never seen so many staff cry or be called out by the heads of each of the restaurants. Lots of bullies on this ship. We saw one young girl with at least 8 tables in the buffet to look after. That's getting coffee, drinks, cleaning the table, taking the dishes to the kitchen, looking after the fat guy who forgot his ketchup etc etc. She was spoken quite harshly by her "boss" many times. That girl could not have moved any faster. Now, I expect service on Oceania but when I see someone doing their best to keep up I certainly don't expect to see her disciplined by her boss, I really expect to see him get some extra help to make things run a little smoother. We actually spoke to him, but that only made things worse for her, sorry young lady we really tried to help.

The jewelry selection was very poor and if you don't particularly like Bellari you are out of luck. Fake jewels or a watch were your only options. Not much in the line of nice cruise wear either.

We found the food very good but were a little disappointed that the specialty restaurants didn't have a table for 10, however each Maitre d did put us 6 and 4 side by side.
