This was my first cruise, and I traveled with my husband, two cousins and their husbands. We flew down the day before the cruise departed and spent a night in Miami Beach which was amazing. We stayed at Hotel Ocean which I highly recommend. It was really nice and right in the heart of the nightlife on Ocean Drive.

We took a taxi to the ship the next morning, and boarding was smooth and the staff was welcoming. We had no clue what to do or where to go but there were staff positioned all throughout the ship to guide us to where we needed to go. We were a little concerned about the number of people on board and how crowded it would be. The first day or two, everything seemed a little crowded because people were still trying to find there way around the ship. By Day 2 or 3 everyone seemed to gravitate to the things they enjoyed the most which made the spaces feel much less crowded.

There was a great variety of activities on board, and even though were spent 7 days on board, we didn’t have time to get to nearly half of them. The dance parties were great and the entertainment was phenomenal. Toby-Joe Reilly was one of the most amazing singers and musicians I’ve ever heard. We went to the Boot and Bonnet almost every night to see him perform. The bartenders and servers there were the best on the ship. Not sure what his whole name is, but “Remy” went above and beyond for us, and all the staff there was amazing.

Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin I

We had an Oceanview Stateroom and I was totally satisfied with its size and cleanliness. There was more storage space than I expected and our room attendant was attentive and responsive to our needs. The room was cleaned twice a day which I loved, but if we wanted privacy, we just put our sign on our door and called Housekeeping to clean the room when we were ready to go out.
