We had an Oceanview Stateroom and I was totally satisfied with its size and cleanliness. There was more storage space than I expected and our room attendant was attentive and responsive to our needs. The room was cleaned twice a day which I loved, but if we wanted privacy, we just put our sign on our door and called Housekeeping to clean the room when we were ready to go out.

We went to Paradise Beach on our own and it was amazing. It cost $3 to get in and we had access to a restaurant, two bars, a pool and the beach (chairs and an umbrella). The staff were so nice and eager to please. There were additional activities you could pay a fee for like an aqua park, snorkeling and kayaking. The day we spent here was our best day at port.

Cozumel

We were not given enough details about this trip, so we were really unprepared. The heat was oppressive and we didn’t think to bring water off the boat with us. We also didn’t eat because we were rushing to get to the bus, but since the excursion included a meal at Raggae Hill, we thought we would be ok. Trying to find where we needed to go was chaotic and even once we did, we waited for over 30 minutes for everyone in our group to arrive. Our tour guide led us to the bus which thankfully was air conditioned, but it took well over an hour to get to our destination which I was not expecting. For the amount of money we paid, they should have at least had a cooler of water on the bus. When we finally got to the falls, it was extremely crowded and we had to wait in line for about another 30-40 minutes before we were met by the guide who was going to take us on the climb. She worked hard and tried to make the experience fun, but she was forceful and I often felt anxious about what she was telling us to do. At times, it almost seemed as if she was yelling at us. There were different parts of the climb, like being thrown in the water backwards, that I didn't want to participate in. Whenever I chose to go a different way, she would blow her whistle and tell me where I could stand. It was difficult her for to keep a group of 14 people together, so we were constantly waiting for other members of the group to catch up or stopping for them to take pictures. We could’ve climbed the falls in about 5 minutes, but because we had to stay with the group, it took about 45 minutes. And no one told us how unbelievably cold the water is. As a way to get people used to the water, the staff run around splashing water on people's backs. I didn't appreciate that at all. When we finally got back on the bus, we had to drive another 20 mins to get to Raggae Hill. This was the most disappointing part of the trip. We thought it was going to be a buffet-style meal with music and dancers, but instead our tour guide told us to sit wherever we wanted and that she was going to serve all fourteen of us our food and drinks by herself. Since the people in our group didn't really know each other,  we broke into smaller groups and were spread across the lawn. The poor guide then needed to run back and forth across the whole lawn to pick up food and drinks and bring them to us. Needless to say, we had to wait long periods of time in between drinks or courses of the meal. The menu was set and at times, we didn’t know what we were eating. At one point, we were served some kind of meat. When we asked what it was, the guide asked back, "What do you think it is?" My cousin said 'chicken', and the guide told her she was close because it was turkey. Believe me, it was NOT turkey. The dancers were just a boy and girl whose two performances happened at random times and only lasted a few minutes. There were long gaps in the music which was being played by a DJ and there were two random dogs which kept coming into our circle which made me extremely nervous.  I can't even explain how bad the seating arrangements were. The only places to sit in the shade had chairs which were tilted at an awkward angle and were the most uncomfortable things I’ve ever sat on. My husband couldn't even sit on them, so I had to carry a bench from the other side of the park so he didn't have to stand the whole time. The workers were not friendly at all. When our guide took an extremely long time to come back with our drinks, I walked up to the serving booth to see if I could help her in any way. The woman standing next to her stepped up to me as I approached, almost as if she was blocking me from seeing something I shouldn't or to create a physical boundary between me and the guide. Either way, the situation was tense and totally freaked me out. When we asked for more champagne, the girl who brought it to us had a scowl on her face, and when my cousin thanked her for bringing it over, she said nothing, gave her a nasty look and walked away. We were so relieved when we heard it was time to go. The ride back to the ship was over an hour, extremely bumpy and even a little scary at times. The driver was going really fast, and at one point a car hit our bus so hard that his mirror was ripped off and our driver kept driving as if nothing had happened. We stopped a local souvenir shop that was extremely overpriced. The lines were long, so we just went back on the bus and waited. We couldn't leave until everyone was done shopping, so it was frustrating to have to sit and wait. The last couple to get on the bus had everyone waiting for over 20 minutes as they walked around the store, and then we found out that they didn't even buy anything. While she was waiting, my cousin became nauseous from the lack of water, the food and the ride, and ended up throwing up outside the bus. Needless to say, we were never more excited to see our ship.
