We chose this because we live within driving distance of Southampton. Embarkation went really smoothly. Heard some comments that the platinum / diamond / pinnacle lines weren't selective, but the queues were quick to get through and the staff very helpful.

The ship took some exploring - the promenade area is a real visual treat. Our cabin was great for what we wanted and really appreciated the balcony for some space to sit.

Dining was brilliant - we shared a table with 2 other families, one of whom left after the first evening for a table to themselves. We got on really well with the other family and it was a real pleasure to sit and chat each evening. The waiter and his assistant were amazing - the assistant waiter (Manuel) kept us entertained each night with tricks and puzzles. Our main waiter, Bapusaheb, was softly spoken but really attentive and we couldn't have asked for better staff.

Cabin Review

Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D1

Great for a younger family. Really nice to have a balcony to sit and relax on, see the views from. The sofa-bed pulled out and would have been uncomfortable for adults but suited our our 2 pre-teens well. Plenty of storage.
