We traveled on this cruise with extended family. We had a great time based on who we were with but the ship was pretty small with not all that many activities. The positives - very nice massage in the spa, bartenders and wait staff were attentive and unlike the prior cruise I took there were plenty of poolside chairs even on the sea day. The cons - very small kids club (thankfully our kids played with their cousins for fun), food options very limited especially for someone with a gluten allergy and just not enough to to do. The ship was small enough that you never had to worry about losing your party but also not big enough to avoid seeing the same people constantly. We were off the ship by 915 am in Havanna which was ok given we booked a private tour who allowed us to negotiate a later end time since we got off the ship late. Note that royal gets the folks off first who booked excursions through them, however we saved a ton given that we were traveling with 15 people by booking privately. Ideally Royal should cut out key west and do 2 days in Havanna.
Because this is an older ship my family of 4 required 2 rooms so I had a js and an ocean view room 7684. The junior suite was a good size for 2 and the deck area was spacious. The cooling didn't work great and the decor needs a refresh. The second room was quite small for 2 people and the decor was even more dated.
Not a fan of key west so initially did not have plans to disembark. Ultimately I did to go to cvs and get lunch as I wasn't satisfied with the meal onboard
We took a private tour that was 7 hours long in the classic cars. Great guide and service would recommend
