Having read reviews on this site I was worried about our trip. I need not have worried as from the moment we came through the passport control the Thomson colleagues made us welcome and efficiently transferred us to the ship. Our bags were in the cabin before us. The ship is very well maintained and impeccably clean. Our cabin was serviced twice a day. We upgraded to a balcony cabin which we had prebooked to get an uninterrupted view. Unfortunately the Thomson agent in the U.K recommended 921 which was 80% obscured by a lifeboat. Do not book this cabin if a view is important to you. This was not the fault of the staff on board so we could only flag when aboard and were refunded the booking fee. By then all other balcony cabins were obviously booked. Apart from this the bed was comfortable and cabin roomy.

The food on board is perfectly acceptable without long queues. In the Seven Seas restaurant we had fantastic service from Jommel Gigs and Johnny. The upgraded restaurant was also lovely service and food.

We enjoyed deck 7 by day and night. Most families gathered by the pools which meant this deck was quiet to read. By night it was deserted and lovely to walk right round the ship at sunset.

Cabin Review

Cabin Outside

Do not book this cabin if you want a view. It is the worst balcony cabin for position. Your view is 80% obscured by lifeboat number 9. This was recommended by Thomson so we have now raised complaint. Colleague onboard did what she could but we could not be moved.
