2nd trip on Grandeur and the ship is in the best condition ever. RCI has invested heavily in keeping this ship up for the Baltimore market, and it shows. Fresh decking on Deck 10 and the "crack" is finally fixed.

Embarkation and disembarkation went fine, although the did not call our group so we left one group late (no big deal).

Voom WiFi worked quite well, speeds usually measured 2-3 mb which is not too bad for satellite internet at sea. I used Google Hangouts dialer to make outgoing phone calls on the WiFi and that worked just fine, with a little delay. I suspect other internet phone apps would work fine also with the basic wifi plan. Well worth it.

Cabin Review

Junior Suite

Cabin JS

Junior suites (JS) are really nice. Balcony and above rooms have refrigerators. Cold water was usually lukewarm ship-wide, so we brought a Britta pitcher and kept it in the fridge for ice-cold water. Water is perfectly clean on Grandeur, although having a filter pitcher is not a bad idea any time cruising.
