Group tour that enabled us to travel with friends and neighbors from our community on a river cruise in Europe. Emerald Waterways offered a very reasonable price cruise with all daily guided port excursions included, as well as all meals and tipping. The staff was exceptional - friendly, helpful and always made us feel they genuinely liked what they do.

Our cabin and the ship's public areas were always clean. The daily menus gave us an opportunity to try many different foods, and always presented well. Many of us thought there would be more German meal options. As to ports, we could have skipped Amsterdam if could have flown home from another airport. Schipol is a horrible experience. This was our first river cruise and trip to Europe. We won't do another one simply because of the extremely long and tiring air travel. However, we will certainly recommend Emerald and specifically Star.
