After taking care of our grandchildren for nine days in New Jersey we needed a getaway and saw this cruise to Bermuda leaving from Bayonne. How perfect! We are veterans of over 20 celebrity cruises and after having a bad experience on a 5 day Constellation last year we did not know what to expect. Well celebrity did come through with their A game. First of all the food was among the best we ever had. While the food in Blu was excellent what surprised us was the level of food in the buffet. Everything we had was superb, from the meatballs to the beef curry to the desserts. Second of all the service was exemplary. We had a very slight problem with my eggs the first morning and they took three days apologizing for it even brining one of the chefs over to explain. The rest of the week the food was Devine. As an older ship, the ship was as clean as a whistle but could use a fresh coat of paint here and there and the Persian garden could use a revamping it is dark and most depressing not at all light and cheery like the solstice class ships. All in all we had a wonderful week and would recommend this to anyone.
