The cruise was nice and the view of the glaciers was fantastic. The overall service of the crew was good. Thank you for such a good service to us.

However, the first show in the Princess Theatre on 19th July, 2017 was not a nice experience to Chinese women. In the talk show at 9:45 p.m., the male speaker (humourist?) talked about Chinese women walking through him several times. He did not say "some Chinese women". He said "Chinese women". That was a generalization and was racial prejudice as well as sex discrimination. Not all Chinese women are like that. I and my friends are Chinese women from Hong Kong. We found that talk show offensive and insulting. It was the first show on board the ship and it nearly spoilt our holidays.

Fortunately the rest of the journey was delightful and we enjoyed the trip on Island Princess. The restaurants were nice. We enjoyed the Crab Shack in Horizon Court as well as the food served in Bordeaux and Bayou Cafe & Steakhouse. All excursions on the shore were enjoyable. We enjoyed the performances on the ship too, particularly the piano and singing performances. Read more
