Cunard are very much trading on their name and need to sharpen their act. We were in a stateroom and the Queens Grill so not a cheap cruise. The amount of paper which arrived in our suite every day was quite ridiculous and most of the info could have been shown on the TV. Having said that, the communication with passengers was poor. We did not know we needed to take our passports with us at Venice and our cabin steward didn't know which deck was disembarkation. The service in the Queens Grill was excellent but the food was not up to the standard provided by other lines in their better restaurants. The Lido buffet was fine for what it is. We only went to one show and the dancers were, quite frankly, embarrassing. Why when there are so many talented youngsters looking for that sort of an opportunity. Don't know if it was them or the choreographer !!!!

The main gripe, however, was the exorbitant cost of drinks. All attracted a mandatory 15% surcharge and wine started at £35 a bottle before the 15%. Glass of prosecco £12.95.

Won't be going with Cunard again. Sorry
