We chose this cruise because of the itinerary and the price point. You get so much value on re-positioning cruises. We flew to Japan early to see Kyoto and Tokyo. The ports were Yokohama (overnight) then Hakodate, Muroron (Sapporo) and Petropavlovsk, Russia.

While certainly not as large as the Solstice class, the Millennium is in excellent shape. Don't believe the negative reviews! We had an Aqua class room and it was as nice as those on a Solstice class ship -- though the configuration of storage was different. I actually like the closet on the Millennium better. I thought that Blu was even better than on the Reflection.

Service was excellent throughout the ship.

Cabin Review

Aqua Class

Cabin A1

This is a great cabin. It overlooks the out the outdoor seating of Ocenview Cafe; so, sitting on the balcony in a bathrobe is not really an option. However, since the temperature was relatively cool during the crossing, very view people were outdoors. It was quiet. Our room attendant was excellent. I actually like the closet configuration on this ship better than on the Solstice class ships.

Don't listen to the negative reviews of this ship. Granted, things can go wrong., but the aesthetics and condition of the ship are not in question. The The ship is in excellent shape.
