This was an extremely well organized and enchanting experience. The service was superior, polite, professional but personable. Food was gourmet and had many choices. My husband and I celebrated our 20th year anniversary, and we loved the romance of Vienna. Excursions kept us busy, as we did not want to miss anything. There were many included excursions, but there are definitely others for an extra price that you do not want to miss. Our favorite excursion was the Mozart/Strauss concert, such beautiful music in a wonderful venue.
The ship is nicely laid out with plenty of places to sit and enjoy the views. We met so many new people and made some new friends. The bar lounge was a perfect meeting place and offered some light entertainment in the evening. We are dancers, and like to include dancing in our vacations. We made the best of the small dance floor and piano entertainment to encourage a few others to join us on the dance floor. If you are looking for a night life party atmosphere, I suggest you look into other options. The days are full with fun, exciting activities though, so most retire early.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience, and would highly recommend this river cruise.

French Balcony Superior
The French balcony was more than sufficient for our needs. We did not stay in our room much, but if you plan to do so, recommend the veranda. It had a little sitting room inside and outside on the veranda. Most days you are in port during the day and sailing by night. When in port, you are tied up to other ships at dock, and your veranda or balcony will be of no use. We did enjoy the day time cruising early in our itinerary, as we opened the sliding door and had a peaceful nature cruise. Great resting, time to rejuvenate the mind.
