as stated above it's very much like a river cruise, cabins run like that also
compact, but not small, 2 makeup beds, all the facilities you need
not as much service as an ocean cruise [but you really don't need it]
lovely heated bathroom floor-makes it very nice

we boarded in Kirkenes and ended up in Bergen [total of 33 stops]

there was not time to get off at each & every one [normal]

and @ some, the time in port was limited

this is a working ship that moves passengers & cargo up & down the coast

lovely interior that seems to have been redone recently

smallish cabins [like river cruises]

good food [buffet breakfasts & lunch] and mostly sit down [set menu] dinners

interesting to go from north to south [ending in Bergen]

there is no entertainment on board

shore excursions seem a waste [personal]

as with river cruises-great time to relax & enjoy the scenery, fjords, and people

great way to see how people live in the small towns in the islands

would recommend this to anyone who has not done it, or is looking for more about Norway

we had a good time-try it
