We started with a 3 day Prague Extension. That really allowed us to explore Prague, by ourselves and with our knowledgeable Guide Thomas. The accommodation in Prague was lovely and allowed us to walk and enjoy the city and the River areas of this gorgeous city. Second day started with the coach dropping us at Prague Castle, we enjoyed a morning exploring the Castle areas. Morning tea at the Lobkowicz Palace over looking the city below us. As we enjoyed our coffee and Cake. An outstanding meal at Prague Castle in the Salm Palace on our second night was delightful. The musicians were a joy. and the night view of Prague was stunning as the full moon rose above the city.
The Emerald Dawn was beautiful look at, and once on board we could not fault anything. Our cabin on the higher deck was comfortable, spacious, and lots of hanging and drawer space for our clothes.
Dining was a constant surprise of beautiful meals. Buffet breakfasts and lunches. Sit down formal dinners of four courses, plenty of wine and excellent service by the waiters at every meal.
Loved our cabin. Very spacious. Excellent views. The bathroom was very well designed. Always fresh towels. Very comfortable bed. The cooling system was very efficient.
Bottled water in the cabin every day. Sparkling and still. Extra water available on excursions as we left the ship.
Of all the cities and towns we visited on this 15 day River Cruise this is probably the smallest of them all. A little town with a big heart. Wonderful Architecture, colorful and clean. Very little traffic through the old town so a joy to walk through and enjoy. Nice coffee shops and quite a few fashion shops.
