Chose this cruise because it went to all the islands with no down time at sea. Very impressed with the organisation particularly in regards to embarkation and disembarkation at each of the islands. Only had to wait for about 10 minutes to disembark at Kona due to waiting for the next tender boat to get back to the ship.
I had read many reviews about the food on the Pride of America, with many people saying that if you wanted decent food, you had to pay to go to the specialty restaurants. We decided that we would try all of the free restaurants and then if the food was average, we would pay extra to go to the specialty restaurants. However, the food we could not fault in the free restaurants, and as a result didn't have to pay anything extra to dine at night.
The Skyline for breakfast was amazing with a really good selection of food, and we ended up having dinner here a couple of nights as well, and again, couldn't fault the food.
Wasn't sure what to expect with our cabin but we were pleasantly surprised. The window was from the ceiling to the floor and the width of the room. The bathroom is small but I was expecting that. Good pressure in the shower as well
