Cost wise good if you have young children otherwise; use NCL or Royal Caribbean

There is a problem with the staff not understanding English. The service in the dining roomwas terrible. Breakfast service was the worst. The wait staff does not understand what you are ordering and you are in the dining room for two hours to finally receive your food which wasnt even what you ordered. MSC needs to work on this problem. I am an avid cruiser with over 70 of them under my belt. The cruise consultants were terrible. There were two of them and each of them gave a different answer to the same question so who do you believe? After leaving the ship and calling MSC we found out that both of them gave us wrong info. The pro's about this cruise line is it is affordable for families with children. The prices are very good in comparison to the other cruise lines. The food was good but the poor service ruined the meals. The one person who was a great help was the head waiter Pasquale.

My son who has 15 month old twins tried three times to book a cruise on the Seaside for next summer because of the prices and finally after spending so much of his vacation time booked but it was done all wrong. To date we still cant get a definitive answer about handicapped balcony's on the new ship Seaside. The schematic shows many interior handicapped cabins but only one handicapped balcony. We cant get anyone to check with Italy to see if this is correct. That is a problem when you deal with a company out of the US. Its sad because if MSC wants to entice the American people to go on their cruises they need to make some major changes about how they deal with their customers. Also the entertainment is ok but it is only their own singers and dancers. It would be nice if they had some outside entertainment once or twice. It would also be great if they had other ports of call to go to. One last thing I received the notice of the meet and greet after it was over.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B2

Cabin was a handicapped one and was large and roomy. The room steward was fairly new and never changed out the dirty used glasses for clean ones. The same used ones remained in the cabin the entire cruise.
