Our review may seem harsh, however, we are rating our experience on the Silver Spirit to numerous Seabourn cruises over the last seven years. There is no comparison. We were in the owners suite (No. 802) on this trip and have booked the same level suite on Seabourn so we feel our comments are fair and balanced.

1)The ship seemed tired and in need of an update; the public areas and the bars did not have any energy and our entire experience was boring. .

2)Our cabin also needed an update (i.e. furniture, carpet, etc.). The air conditioning was sadly lacking and even after multiple visits from engineering the room never really cooled off. The curtains had to be drawn all day, every date to abate the heat, thus we never had an opportunity to enjoy exterior views.
