First of all I am easy to please. Having a ship full of people catering to your every need, how can anyone be unhappy? We arrived in PR the day before the cruise and stayed at the Marriot Stellaris, a very nice waterfront hotel. I would stongly recommend staying here as it has several restaurants on site and close by. The pool with pool bar, casino, and white sand beach was a slice of paradise. Taxi ride from the airport was only $20. Taxi to the pier $15. Get to the ship between 11 and 11:30. I know everyone says you can't board until later but trust me, from the time we got out of the taxi until we were on board was about 20 minutes - a personal best. The ship is very clean and in great shape. Staff is very pleasent and professional. Entertainment is good and the activity staff led by Casey is fantastic. Food was well presented and of very good quality. The Windjammer lunch was great, breakfast changed very little from start to finish so I got a little bored with it, but the had a large variety to choose from. They are using a new system for disembarking. I was told a passenger suggested this new procedure and has worked very efficiently. Basically they give you a time which is the earliest you can leave the ship but you don't have to leave until 10 and you can stay in your room up till that time. We literally walked out of our room, off the ship, through customs and picked up our luggage in 10 minutes, Wow! The trip was fun. Kooka Kanuka bus trip in Aruba gave us a taste of the sights, sounds and beaches of this little paradise. A private bus tour of the clean dutch island of Curacao caves and beaches was memorable. The river tube ride and trip to the Emerald Pool in Dominica opened our eyes to the true beauty of the islands. The highlight of the trip though had to be an excursion offered by RCCL on the pirate ship bones, (Go to bonesusvi.com to see what its all about). It really was the best day I ever had in the carribbean, you won't be disappointed. Say Hi to Mango for us.

Cabin Review

Nice balcony room, not as big as Carnival's but everything you need.
