The itinerary couldn't have been better. Our time in the Israel went beyond our expectations and truly were the experience of a lifetime. Our shore excursion guides were wonderful (we primarily did the extra cost excursions) and we felt we got a world history lesson that surpassed anything we were hoping for. The lectures on board were especially helpful - Viking is so on point when they advertise as "The Thinking Person's Cruise". The cruise was the perfect mix of luxury travel and a challenging learning experience. The service on board was just what you would except from a top rated cruise line. The food was excellent, entertainment was quite good and our cabin was surprisingly spacious. Viking handles all customs and processing at each port almost effortlessly. Couldn't have been happier with any portion of the experience. We have already booked 2 more cruises with Viking for next year.
