Royal Caribbean never disappoints. The ship was beautiful, the service was impeccable and the shows were some of the best. We saw the O water show in Vegas and the amphitheatre water show rivaled the Vegas show on the Harmony. The service was not lacking. The only problem I can see is the communication between the Miami office and the ship. That has been the only problem I have had taking special access groups onboard their ships. I find that no matter how many times I verify what is needed and assured that the special need is taken care of, the ball seems to be dropped in at least one or two cabins. However, that being said, Royal Caribbean is the only cruise line that truly tries to accommodate any special needs group and they do succeed and the experience finally does come together to make all happy. Try them and enjoy.
We had an ocean view balcony cabin. It was spacious although normally sailing in a suite, it was not as roomy. We ported in Nassau, St. Thomas and St. Kitts. We hat been to all but St. Kitts, many times. We had never been to any of St. John's beaches and porting in St. Thomas gave us the chance to do so. We went to Trunk's Bay Beach on St. John and the beach was not crowded. Food, drinks and rental chairs, umbrellas were available to rent.
It was a great beach day. We booked the Safari on St. Kitts, but I would not recommend it. Basically, just a trip through the woods. We enjoyed the ship time while others were at port. A great ship for families as well as couples with so many activities to mention. Go to their website to see all entertainment and activities on the ship.
