Our Viking "Empires of the Mediterranean" cruise was nothing short of amazing. The attention to detail in every aspect of this cruise was perfect. The process of getting from the airport to the ship was well organized and well staffed by Viking personnel. Once we arrived at the terminal, the boarding process went quickly. Cabin service was thorough and timely. All dining venues were incredible and the service was impeccable. There were no additional charges for the dining venues were used and there were no lines at any of the available options. The afternoon briefing regarding the next day shore excursions eliminated any worries about what would happen the next day. Shore excursions were well organized and the tour guides were well versed on the areas being visited. Having a smaller ship with a maximum of 930 passengers, no casino or photographers, and no children, made the cruise an excellent adult experience. No detail was ignored. We can't wait to take another Viking Ocean Cruise.
