Cabin: Mid-Ship Balcony Stateroom

My husband and I (50's) traveled with three other couples. I gave my rating of 5 because we had no issues from start to finish. We chose the Breakaway for ease of leaving from NYC. We hired Lindsey Limousine (CT) to drive us to and from port. Upon arriving to port we checked in our luggage and headed to embarkment (Noon) we had no problems, the process was well organized and within 45 minutes we were on board having lunch. While on the subject Disembarkment went just as well. We chose to carry our bags off and again we were off the ship in 45 minutes.

Room: We had a balcony mid ship (14872). The room was a good size our room steward (Mark) was awesome and our room was cleaned twice a day. We found the bedding to be very comfortable.

Food: We had the food and drink plan. CAGNEY'S IS THE BEST! ( If you go ask for the Tomahawk Steak, you won't find it on the menu). We also ate at La Cucina and Ocean Blue. Although I had no problems with the other food choices the up charge restaurants were of a better quality. Personally I would have paid the up charge every night.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BA

Our room was of good size, clean, bedding was comfortable. The balcony has two sitting chairs and a small table. Soaps, shampoo and lotion are available in the room. Our room steward Mark was always available and cleaned our room twice a day.
