This cruise was a wonderful experience. Viking arranged all details of our flights, including extra time before and after the cruise dates. Our shipboard experience was great! Viking offers room service breakfasts at no charge, so we could lounge and still enjoy a good breakfast to start our day. The stateroom was large enough to stretch out, and did not give us a "cramped" feeling.

One feature that we truly appreciated was having free laundry facilities. We were able to travel with minimal baggage, so there was room in our luggage for lots of souvenirs.

The shore excursions were well planned and were -in general- well executed. (There were occasions where multiple groups from our ship mingled with multiple groups from a sister ship, making for huge crowds at some attractions.) There was also a variety of entertainment in the evenings, so the days AND nights were memorable.

Cabin Review

Cabin Veranda

Roomy, well laid out, with a balcony that allowed us to eat breakfast, enjoy a cocktail, or just take in the sights.

The TV offered a variety of movies, channels, and educational opportunities such as TED talks, etc.

The shower was roomy- no "telephone booth" feeling.
