This was our first ever cruise, river or ocean and now we are spoiled for only the best. They seem to plan for everything that could possibly happen and make any changes seemless. The staff was unbelievable. We were pampered all the way. Food was amazing. We love to dance and the nightly lounge entertainment was perfect. We danced every night to great classics. We upgraded to the Veranda SuiteAA for the extra room. Extra room was nice as well as daily replenished wine, beer, and soft drinks and complimentary laundry service. The ports and shore excursion choices / options were very good. The only issue we had was the inconsistency of the guides ( which in general are not Viking, but outside vendors). Most were excellent but a few ..... not so much. That was the only opportunity we found. It was soooooo relaxing. Did not want to come home, but ........., reality hits.

We are now looking for our next Viking cruise option.
