Traveled with children

Grandson chose this ship because of the waterslides, as good a reason as any! He was right, excellent facilities for children of all ages. If so inclined parents could "dump" their children in Kids Club from 9/10am to 1.30am next day! Just have to suffer them at mealtimes! My 10 year old grandson loved it, and when he was allowed out enjoyed the slides even more, particularly when most guests were on shore, could get busy at other times.

Food good, plenty of choice.

Three complaints,

Cabin Review

Inside

Cabin IX

Cheapest cabin on the ship! Perfectly adequate for 2. Never in it. TV too small to view, but nothing on it anyway! Why pay double for balcony, when you can sit upstairs for free!

Port Reviews

Barcelona

cant class as a visiting port, just embarkation

Naples

Herculaneum is a must, forget about the the overhyped Pompeii, you will be astonished.

Rome (Civitavecchia)

port 50 miles from Rome, so organise a shuttle before you arrive. sights in Rome are amazing, only small city so most within walking distance,

Florence (Livorno)

Took shuttle to train station, 20 minute non stop to Pisa, and back again. Half day max.

Cannes

Nothing for kids to do in Cannes, went ashore for 1 hour to shop, spent rest of day on ship.

La Palma

Even less to do for kids in Palma, stayed on ship.
