From the very beginning, starting with the greeting at Barcelona airport to the send off in Venice was an interesting, fun, well orchestrated, easy to participate and all around great experience. The ship, beautiful treat, had everything to make the voyage perfect, friendly, helpful, out-of-their way attention and assistance staff, beautiful common areas, and wonderful, quiet areas away from the hustle....everything was so well done. The cabin, which may 'look' small as advertised, was spacious and perfect for the two of us to share as friends. Having a veranda was so special and we thoroughly enjoyed that especially early mornings, for pictures of upcoming ports, and in the evening for gorgeous seas and the moon overhead. The young men who cared for our cabin were absolutely great, attentive, smiling, always ready to help in any way. We usually ate at the cafeteria, and found the food marvelous and the serving staff very attentive and interesting, ready with any need we had. We did enjoy several lectures, historical about the local regions, my favorite , and the 'shows' were well done. Musical treats included a group from Greece, I believe, and they were great fun. The excursions were, usually, well done. We enjoyed all the guides and the walking and visiting special places were great. I believe the 'included' excursions often were better than those we paid for. My one disappointment was that the shore excursion to Barcelona did not include the Sagrada Familia.....and our time was so short I was not able to get there. Otherwise, we were overcome to see so much and thank you thank you that I finally got to see David....
I would go again.....tomorrow?
Absolutely perfect! comfortable, spacious for the two of us, gorgeous bath, loved it...
