This cruise was recommended by a friend who had experienced an excellent river cruise and believed that Viking was the best of our many choices for the Scandinavian experience. Our introduction to the area was Stockholm, Sweden which we found delightful. Our cabin on board the Viking Sky was beyond our expectations, and our every need was met. The food was well prepared as we discovered on our tour of the preparation area/kitchen, and we enjoyed every meal. The variety of choices was wonderful. We enjoyed the variety of entertainment, and we especially enjoyed the talks each evening of the next day's destination. We found all of the ports and tours to be excellent. They were well executed and led by very knowledgeable guides who were understanding as we asked questions and willing to give us interesting information. All shore excursions, both those offered as part of the cruise and those we purchased, were a very satisfying experience! We especially enjoyed making chocolate candy in Tallinn, Estonia! Delicious fun! We met many wonderful new friends who loved sharing their many travels, but all agreed that Viking is the best! I'm looking forward to my next Viking cruise!
