We chose this cruise because it took us to new ports we'd never seen before.

While we had been to Amsterdam as a pre-cruise extension last October (Rhine Getaway), we throughly enjoyed being back there. The Belgian cities were absolutely delightful, with Bruges being my favorite. The Netherlands is a delightfully unique place to visit and ending with the stunning Keukenhof Gardens was surprisingly gorgeous! We have now done 5 Viking cruises and have 4 more booked, one this fall and 3 next year. We would be hard-pressed to choose a favorite among them, and would not mind repeating many of the adventures. Regardless, if someone reading this review is considering Tulips and Windmills, we highly recommend it. It might be a tiny bit better to depart a week later than our late March departure as, I understand, there will be even more lovely Tulips and other flowers to enjoy.
