Sail Date: Sep 2009

We sailed the Celebrity Century before, so we expected it to be similar. On a previous cruise my partner and I took two of my aunts as a special gift. We had Skye Suites to enjoy the butler service. That first cruise with Celebrity scored as my favorite. Things have certainly changed over the years.

Initially the check-in was fabulous. There was no waiting, and we were allowed to board the ship early. The only problem with that is sitting on the deck for an hour, and I could have easily stayed in the terminal because the rooms weren't ready until 1:00. This was neither good or bad.

When we got in our room I noticed that one of the ceiling tiles would not stay in the slot. I must have put it back 15 times. One of the lights was out, which I thought should have been checked before we got on the ship, but they quickly fixed it.
