We selected this cruise based on Viking's reputation and itinerary. It lived up to all our expectations by delivering a great river experience, shore excursions and gourmet dining. We booked a Veranda A based on the square footage of 205 sf. and were not disappointed. The appointments in the room were comfortable and exquisite at the same time. We highly recommend Viking with its wonderful on board staff. Embarkation and disembarkation were easy - just get on and off with ease. The entertainment highlights were the night a French accordion player was brought onboard to provide delightful French accordion music as we sailed from Avignon and under the very famous Avignon bridge; and the night a group of entertainers, including two singers, a keyboard player, and a soprano saxophone played French opera arias and then switched to iconic French cabernet tunes - all while dressed in costume. The entire week was delightful!
