Seen the ads on NET TV - the places we went, the food we ate and peaceful ride on the ship (EGIL) was unbelievably good. The service people went out of their way to help, accommodate and keep our room clean while interacting with us as though we were friends. The only thing we had too much of were the number of locks we had to go through each day - way to many. The staff officer in charge of entertainment and tours was very good - funny, and very personable. I appreciated the fact we didn't have to sit with the same people each night at dinner - we had freedom to chose our dining table and to review options for our dinner meals.

I would highly recommend a Viking cruise for anyone looking for a nice smooth ride, with superior accommodations throughout the ship. Thank you Viking River cruise!
