This was a lifetime opportunity for my wife and I to personally visit some many wonderful places which are so different than any where else in the world , that had so much significance. Every day was filled with new and exciting experiences. This trip was first class in every way, from the pre cruise documentation, to the greeting at the airport to the wonderful English speaking tour guide. Transportation in luxury coaches everywhere on land, to a really well equipped ship, excellent well planned daily events, great service everywhere. The visits to World Heritage Sites such as the Forbidden city, Tiananmen Square, the Terra Cotta Warriors, the Three Gorges on the Yangste River, and the Three Gorges Dam were highlights among so many activities. Onboard dining was excellent, with a variety of wonderful food always provided, and beverages such as wine or beer available for the meals. All meals were provided daily and were terrific wherever we travelled. Hotels and in-China flights were excellent . We thoroughly enjoyed this cruise seeing wonderful, famous places, meeting great people from all over the world, and yes, we highly recommend Viking River Cruises to all interested in travelling to China.
