From Bergen, Norway to Stockholm, Sweden and all the stops in between were just spectacular. The ship was spotless and the crew (especially the cabin attendants and the bartenders) were extremely professional and friendly. There were 4 choices where to eat onboard - World buffet, Chef's Table, an Italian Restaurant, and the Pool Quick Serve Grill - all 4 were excellent. The Chef's Table and Italian Restaurant were by reservation only, but they were included in the price of the cruise - no additional fees. Room Service was available 24 hours at no additional charge. There was a laundry available 24 hours at no charge. The shore excursions were well planned and the guides were extremely knowledgeable and professional. The onboard entertain was "Broadwayish".

Taking a short cruise with a competitor - I have a feeling that I'm going to be disappointed after going with Viking!!!! What I'm finding is that with Viking's competitors - every added amenity has an up charge, where with Viking everything is included. Read more
