With decent experience's on its sister ship, Oasis of the Seas, we wanted to check out the Allure. Yes it's big, yes it has lots of restaurants, but the quality of each wasn't there. The food in the Mexican restaurant was poor...we walked out, the only time they played top 40 party music was at 11:00 at night or 1 hour every now and then by the pool (only to be interrupted anyways with "pool games" promenade (5th floor) always packed because it's the only place to congregate, there is nothing fun for teenagers to do by the pool (no slides and only baby pool play area). We were surprised to see slides on the Liberty tho so maybe we will go on that again. Some good things: I do have to say that the service was great and staff helpful. And the comedy show was great.

Ports: Labadee- we come from S. Fla so it's just another beach (we were there when there were lots of seaweed). Jamaica was fun and Mexico was raining so of course we lost our money for an excursion to Playa Mia which was a joke! Don't waste your money! They say it's gorgeous but it's dirty, crowded, birds flying around and pooping everywhere.

We have been on both RCCL and NCL and now feel NCL is more our style.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Nice but typical small cabin and getting to luggage is always a challenge.
