Tulip gardens...

We chose this trip because I'd always wanted to see the tulips in bloom in Holland. Viking was specifically chosen because of their Explorer Suites. At the back of the ship with full length windows in back and on side, a separate bedroom area, outside deck and lovely amenities, they're the perfect place to relax and watch scenery. Some unexpected perks with the suite were a beautiful flower arrangement, silver drink package, laundry service, immediate room availability at time of embarkation and butler service. All staff were exceptionally accommodating and friendly, food was delicious and most excursions and lectures top notch. We enjoyed the itinerary and have already booked for a Danube Cruise next year. I've done a lot of ocean cruising, but had only been on a river trip on the Nile. I like 5 star accommodations and Viking didn't disappoint. I booked first class air, requested non-stop and arrangements were flawless. Perfect!
