Our first river cruise. We had been wanting to try a river cruise for several years and the Viking advertisements were very appealing. The locations and tours provided on this trip were what helped us decide on this cruise. Besides the great sites and sights the accommodations, food, crew members and tours were outstanding. The cruise was very relaxing with just the right amount of activities available to make every day a full and enjoyable experience. The cabins were well appointed and the staff made sure they were clean and comfortable. The food and the service was excellent for all meals on board. We really enjoyed dining at the Aquavit Terrace. The shore excursions were very well organized and the local guides at each location were very personable, knowledgeable and a joy to spend time with. The cruise from start to finish ran like clockwork and was so enjoyable. We have definitely decided that we are going to travel with Viking again.
