From soup to nuts, Viking treats each passenger as a treasured guest. They arrange everything for you from your home airport to your destination and back. They go out of their way to arrange significant touring, educational, and fun activities - it's as if all their tour guides are hand selected for each tour group. As an example, they always had bottled water ready, along with umbrellas if the sky was grey as you disembarked for tours. The cuisine, as this wasn't your ordinary restaurant, was superb. The smaller ships on the river cruises allow for the guests to meet most of the other cruisers and have personal conversations and connections. Viking's attention to detail is unsurpassed. The ships are immaculate and the crew is exceptional, and always friendly and ready to help. We extended our stay in Paris and had a dedicated Viking host at the hotel. She was warm, helpful, and fun to work with. We will sail with Viking again!
