We chose this cruise because we wanted to explore Alaska. When we read some of the reviews we were almost regretting choosing the Grand Princess. I was also warned that the ocean could get very rough. Well, we had perfect weather conditions and the ocean was very calm.

I have never written a review but I would like to assure that the cruise and the ship were absolutely AMAZING. We have been on over 30 cruises. We have elite status on the Princess. My 13 year old son is also elite. Yes the ship is older but still beautiful. The cabins are not huge but are functional. We had a balcony and were quite happy with our space.

The dining was excellent. I liked one meal so much, I asked if they could prepare it for me the next day and they did. Now that is service. All the staff were friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. We loved our cabin steward Chad. Our cabin was always perfect!
