We wanted to go to Havana again and decided this time to go by ship rather than fly. We love to cruise and had not been on Empress yet, but had heard good things about her. All true. Great ship, great crew, great food. Just wish it had a Diamond Lounge it would have been 100% then. Lots of open spaces and did not feel crowded at all. Easy to walk around the ship. Also no smoking in the Casio a BIG Plus.

The port of Havana was truly amazing. The ship docks right in old Havana so everything was very walkable and there was transportation right outside the port from Taxi's, Old Cars, Pedicabs and CocoCabs. The information provide on the ship about Havana was very informative and getting off the ship was a breeze and so was customs. Also very easy to get on and off each time we went back to the ship.

We have book another cruise for next year and hopefully get more education of the island and its people.

Cabin Review

Cabin Ocean View

The Cabin was great it had a king bed and two single berths, lots of room and two windows. Pretty quite most of the time but you could hear some hall noises but not too much of a bother. Bather was small but good, shower seemed a little larger than normal. Closet space was very good. Desk area could have been a bit better, but was OK, I work when on board so was a bit tight. Great water pressure in shower and sink, better than most ships. Beds were comfy.
