We went with Viking because we enjoyed a previous cruise so much. It met all expectations plus. This must be how the one per centers live! Looking forward to another Viking cruise in 2018. Embarkation/disembarkation was very smooth and efficient. We did a land tour the first half of our cruise, Berlin to Nuremberg. The sights and history were outstanding. I have been to most of those places before, yet Viking showed me many new things. The tour guides throughout the trip were first class...they knew their stuff. Finally, the meals and service was outstanding. I could not have asked for more. We had a variety of dishes to choose from and as much as you wanted. If it wasn't on the menu, ask? They might have it! Our evening meal turned into a lively discussion with fellow guests. This was one of the highlights of the trip. We were so impressed, we came home and immediately signed-on another Viking Cruise.
