My wife and I had wanted to go on a river cruise for many years.We chose to do the before and after stays and everything went very well. The river ships are very nice and the cabins are wonderful. The choice of food is just right. The coffee and tea service was nice addition. The local guides for the excursions are very knowledgeable. Good mixture of excursion types and destinations. The cabin was nice and well tended to. Amenities in the room were superior. We liked the deck off our room and used it on most days or evenings. The crew are most helpful,hardworking and attentive. They are really there for you and will do anything in the power to assist everyone. The Rhine River in the spring is perfect. We were lucky to be able to meet up with our cousins who live in Switzerland. This was an added extra that helped us select this specific cruise. Thank you Viking Cruises!!!!!
