We chose this ship for the price, timing and itinerary. It did not disappoint!

The ports of call were excellent and provided a busy schedule for us. We did book shore excursions through the boat for 4 of the ports and on our own for the other 4, I would not suggest booking them through the ship. With the exception of convenience (and the assurance of returning on time) the ones through the ship were far from amazing and the cost was horrendous. Naples especially. We booked our own excursion through Mondo Guide Rick Steves and only paid 65 euro per person. It was an excellent tour of Amalfi, Sorrento & Pompeii and the same one through the ship was offered for nearly $400! To top it off, we saw the ship excursion groups all day on our stops! The beach transfers only let you at the beach for 2 hours which seemed like a waste. Rhodes was an awesome little town and beach in walking distance, don't need an excursion here at all. The Santorini wine tasting would have been a better end to the day but instead they had you start there at 9am! Rome is worth a couple of extra days before you get on the ship, it's a beautiful city worth exploring.

With the ship being on the smaller side it doesn't offer a ton of extra amenities but is easy to navigate and find familiar faces. It is looking dated and could use a refresh but is very clean and well kept. The technology on the newer ships would be a nice addition to this one, the touch screen tv's etc. for booking reservations and excursions.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BA

Our balcony was a dream, a necessity with such active days. Worth mentioning that it was quiet in the day/evenings but on a couple of occasions late at night it sounded like elephants above us. I'm guessing prep in the buffet? Never any noise from the pool which we thought there might be. The bathrooms are an odd layout with the toilet and shower separated, I would suggest an update on them, they are showing their age.
