We chose this cruise as an introduction to the world of cruising. The actual onboard experience was great and the scenery when moving was wonderful. The ship, staff and food were exceptional. We wished we had booked longer and a larger cabin. The bathroom was amazing as was the bed but all just a bit cramped for us.

However, the whole experience is very much created with the American tourist in mind. The tours we felt were compromised, all geared around meal times and not enough free time. The onboard entertainment was dated and again all American music. Disco night was so old American. Not all of us are in our 60's and we still listen to on trend sounds...and something more current would have been good. There were some school trip child like moments on the tours and I really objected to being pushed and shoved along the way.

Having paid for a Balcony Suite I also felt cheated every time we moored alongside another vessel. This was particularly annoying on waking one morning to find passengers waving to me in bed as they enjoyed their breakfast! Read more
