We chose this cruise for the destinations and were not disappointed but the SHIP was DREADFUL. This very, very tired ship had the Norovirus the week before our trip so the swimming pools were emptied and nets put over them which looked terrible, long queues for mediocre food because it all had to be served by staff with plastic gloves,we were sprayed constantly in an effort to control the virus, not how you want to spend a holiday.We did not want to join a group for our evening meal and were made to feel a nuisance and always had to wait at the side of the queue for a table.. However the worse experience was the plumbing, daily blocked toilets, dirty water coming up through the bath plug and black water from the shower, if it had been an hotel room we would have checked out. However, the staff were brilliant always available to clean away the dirty water and constantly cheerful,we would not use Thomson's again.
