We chose the Elation because it's close to Savannah, GA (Jacksonville, FL) and the dates matched up with our limited options. Five days to the Bahamas was just what the doctor ordered. We had a total of 9 people in our party spread out amongst 4 rooms.

Our expectations were that we would have fun with one another, eat when we felt like it, and drink when we felt like it. The Elation was the perfect ship for this.

If you want a fully updated ship with more than four dining options, go elsewhere. But if you want a fun vacation for a good price and you don't mind an interior room, this is the ship for you.

Cabin Review

Cabin U

The rooms need updating but we weren't there to sleep our vacation away. The beds were comfy, the bathroom was fully functional, and the TV worked. Our cabin steward, Marco, was fantastic.

Port Reviews

Princess Cays

We loved our time on the beach. We didn't shop, eat or buy anything other than alcohol. We chose to walk to the end of the island farthest from the tender and that was a good choice. It was not crowded, the swimming area was not populated, and we practically had a bar to ourselves. LOVED IT! I only sunscreened once---mistake. Big mistake. Take sunscreen and use it. You can take your own floats, your own unbrellas, your own everything really, if you want. Or you can rent it there.
